Student Startup and Innovation Policy
SSIP Cell
The institutional committee that manages the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) at GPP — approving projects, disbursing funds, and overseeing outcomes.
What the cell does
The SSIP Cell is where innovation and entrepreneurship are supported at Government Polytechnic Palanpur. It exists to help students turn an idea into something that works, and where the idea justifies it, into a business.
Support runs the length of that journey — from first idea through prototype, funding and, for some projects, commercialisation. Students receive technical assistance, seed funding and mentorship, and the cell guides them through the patent process where the work merits protection.
Per-project SSIP records — the projects funded each year and the amounts disbursed — are not yet published here; the institute holds those figures only as summary tiles rather than as records.
