The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has communicated, vide File No. 20-125-2020-NBA dated 30/07/2026, that an Expert Team will visit Government Polytechnic Palanpur from 21 to 23 August 2026 to evaluate the Diploma Electronics & Communication Engineering program (Application ID 11385-13/12/2025) for grant of NBA accreditation. Documents to be made available to the Visiting Team on the first day of the visit: • Faculty list of the department, separately for CAY (2025-26), CAYm1 (2024-25) and CAYm2 (2023-24), in the prescribed proforma (soft and hard copy). • List of students for the current academic year, separately for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year. • List of placements for the last three academic years, with student name, University Serial No., discipline, year of passing, on/off-campus placement, and employer name. • One hard copy of the eSAR (Self Assessment Report), kept ready for the visit. Website compliance (as required by the letter): The institute is also required to publish an updated faculty list for the program — including designation, joining date, qualification, and nature of association (regular/contractual) — along with placement data for the last three academic years, on the institute website at least seven days before the visit.
